    I can remember him from the movie Mask with Cher, in one scene he wore a t shirt that read “moustache rides”…probably not PC but I thought it was funny ?

    Sam Elliot’s great distinctive voice was also used as the Narrator for “The Big Lebowski”, taking about The Dude, in addition to starring as The Stranger in the same movie (wearing a Cowboy Hat, sitting in the Bowling Alley).
