She shouldn’t be allowed to place, but the whole world, including me, wants to see this girl skate. She is a victim of child abuse and shouldn’t be punished by not skating. Her parents should be punished.

I think the real scandal is not the doping itself but how the Olympic committee is actually responding to it. Government Back doping hes been around for a long time pretty much since the 1st time we started to see steroids being used. But the Olympic committee is Is taking a very slow And hands off approach. They are waiting for 18 months That’s a long time to do an investigation where the evidence is blood samples which they already have. I think they’re trying to Wait until after the Olympics is over And then hopefully no one remembers about the doping scandals nothing is done.

I do believe this 15 years old skater didn’t know exactly what she was taking/what was given to her but she probably had no choice than going along with it – Russia and all – but the problem is that if it’s giving her an advantage it’s unfair to the other contestants.

If you have to have special rules and loopholes for minors to compete in the Olympics, then maybe they shouldn’t be able to compete. They should have their own category of competition. This here is a clear example of why. I feel bad for the girl because I bet it wasn’t her idea to start taking the PEDs. It’s crazy and unfair to her, who is a great talent for certain, and the other athletes.

I know everyone’s hating on this poor 15 year old girl but think of how traumatizing this experience has been for her and all the hate she’s been getting and will get for the rest of her career (for something she probably had no say in). I genuinely feel for the girl

These people have no idea what damage a 7.62 round would do. You can’t just apply a bandaid.

She’s just 15 years old. This is not her fault. They are using drugs on her and leaving her no control over what happens. It’s as bad as the Dr. that was molesting the young gymnasts in the US.

Those far right neo natzis have a firm foothold in the Ukraine. I say let Russia have it.
