Roy Wood Jr. discusses the House struggling to elect Kevin McCarthy as House speaker, Trevor Noah’s departure from The Daily Show and why he’s nervous to work with Chelsea Handler on the show.
Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Watch Late Night with Seth Meyers Weeknights 12:35/11:35c on NBC.
They should make him the new host of The Daily Show
ReplyWanda Sykes should be in every YouTube video. If not for the entertainment, then for the clicks. I only know Chelsea Handler from when she was a host on Jimmy Kimmel. Loved her. But Wanda Sykes is immaculate.
Love Roy too. But he always disappoints. I type in his name in the search bar and 90 minutes later I’m all out of Roy Wood. That’s like having sex without the sex.
ReplyF trevor! And his writers.
ReplyRoy you ever see a family fight at Glen corral?
Me: yeah I was usually the autistic kid in those family fights who won because I keep to myself and notice all the drama and have no problems ruini g their day if they start actin like asses. Oh yall wanna raise your voice at me? Imm go grab another steak (14 steaks in one sitting is my personal gc record)
ReplySeeing Roy’s real smile is priceless!
ReplyHe has to know weeeee all want him to be the host!
ReplyWith or without a Speaker, there will be no legislation with the split of the two chambers. The dysfunction that the Republicans show on a daily basis will ultimately help the country. It makes their choices come Election Day just a little bit easier.
ReplyRoy is so funny and talented. They could do worse than giving TDS to him.
ReplyAlthough my favorite model would be to make it a double header of Roy and Sam Bee.
*Imagine the blazers alone!*
Roy Wood Jr. is a brilliant and hilarious man! I always enjoy his stand-up and his segments on The Daily Show. His podcast, Beyond the Scenes, is also excellent. Give it a listen if you haven’t yet!
ReplyThey played themselves.
ReplyRoy Wood Jr., there’s very little to say for anyone else than him to be the next host…
ReplyI’m not even remotely surprised. Noah is not a comedian, he’s a snooze fest in human form. Milquetoast jokes abound even in his stand up.
ReplyI love Roy as a comedian but, damn, I love him even more when he’s serious. What a great person he is.
ReplyThey can’t work but they are sure getting paid… minimally $174,000 + government-funded subsidies for their healthcare.
ReplyRoy would be a perfect host for daily show
ReplyRoy is the man!
ReplyDaily show returns on my birthday
Reply“I’m just here for a little government. I came here for some government and some fries>…” :)))))))))))))
