MLB has inner city programs to recruit black players, since only 8% of MLB players are black.

Maybe since the NFL/NBA are 70%+ black, both leagues need to institute programs to recruit more white, Hispanic and Asian players.

    Under representation, is under representation.

yeah, nfl management are racist. they’ll hire black players as 68% of the team to win, yet when it comes to coaching apparently its “fuck dat we aint hirin no n***** for coach!

Bill Maher is race baiting now. Seriously people need to not blaming everything on race it not the 1960s. This is causing more division than anything else.

When crunching the numbers the NFL should around 5 African American Head coaches to reflect their 15% of the population in the US. Which means there should also be nearly 6 Head Coaches of LatinoHispanic are needed to represent their percentage of the population. But its worse when considering that most Women hired by NFL Teams have Pom Poms not headsets on the sidelines and are little more than set dressing at every level of Football. The truth about the NFL is that it draws from a rather small pool of College Coaches or former players to fill its ranks season after season. With many going from one team to the next as assistant coaches hoping to get to head one or be hired by another the NFL is a that closed a system. To be fair most players last day in football is also their last in the NFL and it can be a decade or more slog to get above assistant level with some many vying even for that once the uniform is off.

Brian Flores created a toxic atmosphere. He needs to own that and sit down.

Now i want that guy & other woker/jokers to complain about the lack of Asian, Hispanic, European, Arabic players in the NBA. They seem to lack diversity there too.

If this was a real underlying issue, we’d also be discussing how many Asians, Latinos, or even Caucasians there are as players in the NBA or NFL today. Just like Hockey and NASCAR are predominately Caucasian for obvious reasons, and baseball and soccer/football is about as mixed as it gets – they all give credence to some just searching for a problem.
But we shouldn’t, because that’s what equality of opportunity provides. May the best person from a pool of candidates, win.

The NFL should follow the NBA example.
The NBA has a long way to go, but they are far more diverse is GM and head coach hiring that the NFL.
