ReplyThere needs to be a racism education program so people can address their explicit and implicit biases honestly for police officers and the wider public, this year will be known as “I Can’t Breathe ( MC, 2020). The physical and psychological choking of people (2020) due to racism and Covid 19, without constructive action they will be no change.

ReplyI do not pretend to understand the moral universe the arc is a long one, my eye reaches but little ways;
I cannot calculate the curve and complete the figure by the experience of sight;
I can divide it by conscience. And from what I see I am sure it bends towards justice
A member of Congress doing noting, just like the rest of them. Ripping off America.

Reply”How do we make the Black Americans feel safe around police officers?’ How about you start by having a justice system that punishes Police officers when they murder black people. What has appalled the world so much is these many incidents caught on camera have led to no convictions of Police officers and this would not happen in any other developed country, because if you murder person regardless of colour, you go to jail.
ReplyI wonder if in that conversation about race, it gets to be a 2 way conversation. If not, it’s not worth having. When I watch talk shows or listen to interviews where the speaker is black, they tend to shut down white perspective pretty quickly, and if these are people who are representing a black community, then to me it would seem the black community in general doesn’t want to have a 2 way conversation about race. Until BOTH sides of any issue are willing to listen to the other’s perspective, you will always have fruitless blah blah blah.
ReplyThank You
