Representative Pramila Jayapal talks about moving to the U.S. alone when she was 16-years-old, her push for Medicare-for-all and supporting her fellow congresswomen of color.
Another 4 oclock news…
She is a princess.
Better know a District, “The Fighting 7th!!”
She is the boss. She has a gentle authority. She is the leader of the Progressive Caucus and she will jump the queue and be the Speaker of the House when Pelosi Retires. We need to rally behind Pramila as much as we rally behind Bernie and AOC, she will be very powerful.
1:07 Georgetown grad in the audience?
4:43. Fuckin’ hell. I bet that soup is *delicious*. How many global cuisines go into the pot?!? Damnit. (No “too many cooks spoil the broth.” These folk know how to collaborate.)
I want some soup.
Very smart. Great interview! Nice to see people who are TRULY for Medicare For All, and not just waffling back and forth to sound okay on tv, but also not scare donors for their Pres race (you know who they are!)
It’s slow progress.. but we’re getting there, thanks to fine people like her.
I appreciate the engagement and posture Seth has when interviewing. He’s that dude in the office luncheon or happy or dude at the party that after a few moments you’re like “this dude is coo and attentive af”. Never pretentious and very attentive. Thumbs up bruh
No joke, I could listen to her speak for hours. She’s awesome! Thanks Seth!
