People need to stop treating Kinzinger like a hero for doing the bare minimum of what was right, or like a victim because his brainwashed family disowned him. At the end of the day, he still wants what the rest of the GOP wants, he’s just using his soapbox to rehab his party’s image so they can continue to take a collective dump on the average American

No offense to religious people, but the Christian Evangelicals who still support Trump seriously believe the world is going to end soon and that we were all located in some epic battle between God and Devil. And ofcourse in their view we Democrats and Liberals are supposed to be the bad guys. They have made these claims for over 100 years now. And nothing has happened as usual. The world is still going on and there is no “demonic force” anywhere trying to destroy humanity. On the contrary, things are getting better and there is light at the end of the tunnel again, now that Democracy in America is being restored again.

This guy is not very informed. Dick Cheney famously said “deficits don’t matter.”

Trevor: Your family wrote a letter and said you ‘Betrayed Trump and have joined the Devil’s Army’
Me: That’s a bold claim coming from someone who is responsible for doing an insurrection, locking kids in cages, using the presidency to help his moneys let alone not sharing his tax returns to the public. I’d argue that him going against him was going against the Devil’s Army. OOH BURRRRRRRRRRRNNNN

He says going against Trump was joining the Devil’s Army? Hey at least Mr. Kinzinger isn’t basically a cult. That’s what the Devil’s Army is in case you didn’t know

Except minimum wage would not be $15 soon, not even this year so why complain that this isn’t the time when it would incrementally increase. Also if reconciliation is used then all that needs to happen is Manchin and Sinema get on board and it passes this week. This talk about it coming back to the house with changes sounds like amendments are a foregone conclusion, if that’s the case then wtf is budget reconciliation? A fake ass process that only works for tax cuts for the rich and when the Republicans use it?

Kinzinger seems more political than he says he is. He us pretending to be the voice of reason. Actually he sounds like he is pounding his drum preparing for office of president in 4 years.
