On a low I totally get the Republicans mixing him up with Elijah Cummings. He literally could pass off as a doppelganger. Just put them side-by-side and you’ll see what I mean. They kinda look like twins even though they’re not. I swear they’re related. Anyway either way he definitely inspired me to fight for what I believe is right

It saddens me to see this man pass without him getting to see true change in this country.

Trump once tweeted that John Lewis is “All talk, talk, talk – no action or results. Sad.” That shows that Trump does not know history.

I didn’t know the man but I know what he fought for. I bow my head to a lost soldier for a good cause. Where he can walk no more let us continue his journey for him. These are big footsteps to fill but together we can try.

RIP John Lewis. Now let’s pay attention to John Fitzgerald Johnson aka The Grandmaster Jay to continue the real black movement. NFAC is here to stay 💯✊🏾

It makes me so mad that some white Trumpsters abused him and cheered his death by saying “Good riddance”. This man marched with Martin Luther King Jr, was one of the original freedom riders, and was beaten by police on Selma Bridge. It’s because of people like him that you’re able to live the life you have today. Show some respect. RIP John Lewis. Thank you for everything

John Lewis was a man all men should strive to be. A good honorable man who fought hard to rise up and raise others up with him. He’ll be missed. The world truly lost a hero, a civil rights leader, and a dedicated ally for all peoples.

JoLe was the core of what all the citizens of USA (more general: the world) should be.

He was what it will be when the perfect union will be formed.

The only people more stupid than Trump supporters are Believers of what Trevor Noah says, Biden supported segregation in the 70s and Trevor wants Biden to be president lol

“Not many of us get to live to see our own legacy play out in such a meaningful, remarkable way. John Lewis did.” Barack Obama

Try to imagine Trump saying something so eloquent and genuine. Just try. Or don’t, because it’s never happened and it never fucking will.
