She wasn’t familiar with “Dune” before getting a call from director Denis Velleneuve, but his passion for the subject matter convinced her right away that she should take the part. “Dune” opens in theaters and on HBO Max on October 22nd. #Colbert #Dune #RebeccaFerguson
There’s a lot of jihad in Dune, I wonder if Dennis will change any of the Arabic terminology, for a modern audience
ReplyShe is really good as Lady Jessica! Watched it twice 🙂
ReplyA perfect adaptation of a flawed book. Woohoo.
ReplyDune was absolutely marvelous! Villeneuve and Nolan are the mldern day masters of cinema! I really liked Ferguson at the start of the film but she became a bit of a side character near the end. But it makes sense in the movie, so I understand that. Still a great performance from a terrific actress!!
ReplySand Worm played by Corn Pop.
ReplyTo Who posts here, did you see the Dune before this remake?

Dune: The only movie i can say about “Better than the book it’s based on but i would’ve never understood if I hadn’t read the book.”
ReplyPeople love Dune because dialogs, cast and scenes in Lynch’s version of a movie were so powerful and memorable.
ReplyIt’s not out for weeks here. Please stop torturing me.
ReplyWow! She almost finished answering the first question. Thank god we got the actual answer in the video title, or we’d never have known. Do you think you could have tacked on a little more of the rest of the interview to this tiny clip?
ReplyLOVE HER SO MUCH
ReplyIt is by will alone I set my thoughts in motion…
ReplyGreat actress, terrible talk show guest
ReplyI missed school one day in high school because I was feeling sick, I went back to bed for hours, and when I woke up, I turned the tv on and a movie was just starting… with a whole speech about a precious intergalactic spice… and the title appeared in full screen ” D U N E.” I was like wtf kinda movie is that?! It got weird fast but I loved it. I’ve rewatched it once since, and thought this baby was past due for a serious remake… and a few month later, this remake was announced! Can’t wait til I get a chance to see it!
ReplyHow can Stephen–an avowed fan of Herbert’s ‘Dune’–claim this to be a “perfect adaptation of the book”, when it only covers *the first half of the first book*?
