I still don’t understand Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

My father took me to all the films Quentin mentioned, and then some, since I was 6 years old. I am very thankful that he did so.

Quinton is the only white man in America who gets to say the N-word (through his scripts). And although I sense his racism, and he disgusts me, I thank Bill for having him on. Because I am willing to hear other sides and listen to folks I don’t agree with, even those who make me throw up in my mouth.
Tarantino is such a strong Italian name, it makes me wonder who babied him so much that he never got to watch the Saturday Kung Fu flicks on TV. Or got to live a real life like the rest of us. Why he makes some of his movies from such a distorted view. Please let me stop! I’m lying about why I don’t like him. I don’t like him because he will write the N-word in his script over 70 times in Django and hides behind actors to say it. Is that wrong, legally no (Hollywood has been doing it for years). But morally, without no recompense to my community, this dude is a F’ing leach!
12 years a slave, F even the entire series of Roots combined, had the N-word displayed less. And the fact that he jumps Jew (as if a jew being racist is ok) every time he gets bothers me.

He is wrong on so many levels, it hurts my feelings as a black woman who raises black children and grands. But until my community agrees, I am the voice that says F this dude and his movies. He is a moron. Cause I know this comment will not make him sit down at a table and ask me how he can be better at portraying people of color. It’s not his desire. So short story long, F him!

And thank you Bill for entertaining all voices, I’m here for it!

So that’s why Quentin is the way he is. It all makes sense now.

Tarantino’s Star Trek would have been amazing. Such a shame it’ll never be made.

Tarantino is a f#@cking legend. Few Directors show such love and care for the craft they practice.

For a guy who “hates racism” he sure does enjoy profiting off the N-word.

Poor guy has been struggling his entire career to recapture an absurd caricature of masculinity. Single moms.

Either massively on coke or just plain manic and crazy. Or maybe all three. But by god, he makes great movies

Tarantino is a twit, who shouldn’t tell his stupid story here as well as wherever his book campaign takes him. If Trump is a dumb man’s idea of a smart man, QT is the over-rated hack who pedestrian people think is artistic & hip. He’s a moron stuck in an 8-year-old’s mindset “sharing” his fascination. His films don’t just glorify violence, but fetishize it.
