*I LIVE IN BULGARIA NOW* in an ex-communist apartment block – *WHY?* Cos of the 100 families in this block, at least 70 of them would give me a lift to the airport if I were stuck…
They bring me veg from their allotments, I made them face masks in the pandemic, its what a community behaves like. And now I have experienced it, I cant go back to the electric gate world of the UK where my neighbour refused to call me an ambulance one time…
ReplyUnusually funny meanwhile
ReplyCan we not just turn this into a YouTube exclusive? Just once a week Stephen sits with his wife and makes jokes for ten minutes? “Evie-while” if you will!
Replythat moment when you realize you have zero people you would trust in an emergency or who would take you to the airport. . . 😐
ReplyI’m gonna miss these bits
ReplyIts depressing that this era of Colbert is over.
ReplyThat’s because he says he’s Jesus! The reincarnated!
ReplyWe’re all gonna miss Evie!
ReplyJust mention kanye and I tune out. But love you Stephen. Next time!
ReplyThat intro was ……SICK!
Replythats why its called a whiz kid
ReplyI think Nathan Pyle is owed something.
ReplyAs happy as I am for Stephen and the team getting to be back in the studio together, a small part of me still hopes that they’ll somehow continue this format…
ReplyIt’s so refreshing and feels much more intimate than the giant studio with the laughter giving off pre-recorded sitcom laugh vibes :/
Why come out with a winter coat in June?
ReplyI was never this invested in a talk show until Stephen Colbert came into the scene. He gave us segments I look forward to every week, addressed the world’s crises, and got us through one of the scariest years in current history. Serious when he needed to be, yet comedic when things were dour, Stephen was just there for us. Godspeed, Stephen Colbert. See you in the studio.
