President Barack Obama is frustrated by the “shambolic nature of the government response” to the pandemic, but he has high hopes for America under the incoming Biden-Harris administration. Stick around for Part 2 and Part 3 of Stephen Colbert’s in-depth interview with the iconic former president. President Obama’s new book, “A Promised Land,” is available everywhere now. #Colbert #PresidentObama #BarackObama
Jon Batiste is so smooth.
Reply8:28 My thoughts exactly! I worry, I worry very much about the states still, the future of it all and in relation to the rest of the world. Yes, the most imminent danger was (🤞) avoided, but things aren’t back to normal yet. What to do with all those dangerous people that Trump has exposed and drawn out from the slippery bedrocks?
ReplyYou have to be very hard brainwashed to prefer Trump over Obama
ReplyDrink him in! Yes! So nice to have a great man on your show!
ReplyLovely how he mentions Angela Merkel for her scientific background. I really think the two adored each other in a way world leaders usually don’t. They really got each other’s motivations and appreciated the work of the other. Call that good or bad, but it’s remarkable.
ReplyBarak was ok, but John was legendary…more please…longer…
ReplyWhat a great interview, I understood everything said
ReplyLmaoo i start the video and see a blind guy
ReplySeeing Stephen and John makes my day. But seeing Obama makes my week 😁. He’s like a real respectful man its refreshing to see.
ReplyDid they cut out the bit where Stephen blows Obama because of Covid regulations?
Reply➗ Speaking of swinging back and forth and around, how did the aids virus gets spread around with EVERYONE understanding the spread? Again Trumps Fault? This guy is laying a platform to blame EVERYTHING on Donald Trump, Obama is saying Americans are tired? LoL, he is trying to reach people to relax and give up and concede to the democratic agenda to destroy the United States of America 🇺🇸
ReplySuch a humble man!
ReplyGod! I truly do miss this man…
ReplyHis 8yrs was so bad that people voted for trump..fact.
ReplyNice suit Stephen!! Very sharp!!!
ReplyI miss this *man* being in office. Largely for his rationality and considered governance, together with a personal admiration for his oratory.
ReplyIn Biden there is at least someone similarly capable at the rostrum gracing my screen again.
By the by, this is coming from an Englishman in Taiwan. Thank you kindly, people of America.

I’d say, *Street epistemology* !
non-confrontational, socratic dialectical.
The problem has deep roots.
(edit: you can find good examples of SE here on YouTube)
ReplyI really hope that with Joe Biden as President the relations between Germany and USA get better again. Problems are too big now to be solved by one country alone. Also on a human point of view my teen girls are looking up to role models like Michelle Obama and Jill Biden, they don’t aspire to be like Melania Trump or Kayleigh McEnany, thank God.
ReplyI liked the before even seeing it 😍
ReplyTrump is like the mob boss who takes over a children’s hospital and diverts the budget for the medication towards funding his private yacht. Just because he has children of his own doesn’t mean he’ll show any compassion towards them. I don’t think Obama realised just how completely devoid of empathy Trump is.
