“Pink Tax” is objectively the fault of the women themselves for buying the products at a higher price.
The “wage gap” is down to a dozen or so reasons, most of which are statistical, not personal.
“WAP” is simply disgusting, and degrading for all humans, let alone women.
Violence against women is up to everyone to stop, not “just men”.
The general trend I’m seeing here is that if lots of women are doing something, it literally cannot be their fault regardless.
I mean if you can’t even blame women for picking the expensive pink thing instead of the cheap blue thing,
then you really need to look in the mirror.

So we have a problem when we see the side effects of rules which gives women the sole custody of children.

How about minority, single, and “kidless” men? Some men don’t have others to fall on or live off when their income dwindles. From what I have seen these are the people who are suffering right now.

Both the wage gap and pink tax are both myths

    0:36, way less then men.

Men disproportionately die early, women have easier access to warfare. I’m not saying sexism is not real but the pink tax is a myth.

At least we know now what the problem is. It is the subservancy and treatment of women like they are children! Its gaslighting. I am being gaslighted and told that my intuition, feelings, and beliefs are not valid. They are trying to erase my reality….

0:41 no, most of those women were able to return to three families, and were working part time. This mean while men who lose there job are likely to go unemployed and are he vast majority of homeless people.

My opinion about the pink tax is that it is just supply and demand, the higher the demand, the higher the price, women use more of those products than men, so that’s why they cost more for women, and the manufacturers take out more time to make the women’s products fancier, but then if the products are exactly the same thing why not boycott the fancy products and buy the men’s products, it’s just that simple.
This is just my opinion, and for all I know I could be wrong. 🤷‍♂️

I wonder where they found data that supports that the wage gap is less for women who have never been married. If you are looking at the same job where a woman or a man who has never been married vs someone who is married, more than likely people expect the never married woman and man to work longer hours so if they are hourly and get paid overtime that could decrease the wage gap but that does not mean that they are paid more. It just means they work longer hours so the married man or woman could actually make more per hour. If you are an unmarried woman who is also a minority that is where the greatest wage gaps start to occur. Most data shows that married men are the highest wage earners. It seems like the greatest wage gaps are for unmarried men and women. Unmarried women and men don’t have a choice about working, they only have one income and if they don’t have roommates then you are not splitting mortgage or rent either.

They try to gaslight women, they try to get them in a place of doubt. Asking them are sure your perceptions are real? Are you sure your able to trust your intuition? They gaslight women telling them their feelings and inuition are not real. They tell women they arent able think logically.

I mean, this stuff has been known and explained for years. Yet people keep buying the more expensive products… now, I just checked and the blue guillet razors are the exact same price as the pink ones in both Publix and Walgreens here in Florida, but if the pink ones were cheaper for the exact same product, I’d simply buy the cheaper pink ones. And that right there is why corporations prey on the insecurities of women.

You really wanna get mad? Look at how women have been duped into wearing makeup and how female bosses pressure their female employees into doing so. If women stopped wearing makeup tomorrow there isn’t a d-mn thing us men could do about it, and many of us hate makeup in the first place since it’s been proven to ruin your skin.

Bottom line: Only women can solve women’s issues. Guys have been trying for decades but since we aren’t women, we simply can’t really know. YouTube’s CEO is a female, AMD’s CEO is a female, there’s a lot of female CEOs out there so if you want to yell at someone who might actually do something, yell at them. And by all means the least you can do if stop buying the more expensive stuff. Do that for 6 months as a group and anything that _is_ more expensive will drop in price real quick

Every man on this planet was birthed and nurtured by a woman. Now, imagine this mortal world, if women of all color were in charge. So the patriarchal construct condition women to be submissive so why not give respect to every woman ever.

The easiest thing to do is a guy is to focus on yourself and not make eye contact with women lest ye make them nervous. Cause you never know what she’s been through, and she stereotypically certainly won’t ever consider what you might have been through as a guy because they generally couldn’t care less. This is known. Trust me, women will approach you if they are interested enough and you’re ignoring them. I actually find it a fun game to notice the women trying to get me or other guys to approach them without them knowing that I know it. Don’t believe me? Start paying attention to human female behavior. Personally I have no time for a woman who can’t even bring herself to approach a guy she wants. I only hang out with adult females who take responsibility for their actions. Life is a whole lot simpler that way

For the wage gap, I’m not every person in america, I can only speak from personal experience. I worked myself to death for minimum wage, plus 20 cents. My co worker females especially those too old to work, made $10 over minimum wage, worked at a casual speed, didn’t get work done, left anytime they wanted and sexually harass me and bullied me. As well as other male coworkers. That’s my experience with the gender wage gap

I’m wondering if….liberating Women was one of the reasons traditional religious culture of Jesus’ time didn’t like him too much. But it wasn’t put in the bible because….it’s not against the law to be a ‘liberated’ or ‘free’ Woman– I believe that the idea of liberation has kind of also been shaped by Men, or Misogyny in a way that Jesus didn’t actually agree with either. It seems based on the stories, Jesus knew Women were in a complex position in society. I wonder if he ever knew that about his Mom Mary, and if that conversation ever happened, and if it did, what it was like…not that I’ve read the entire bible.

Like I said in the beginning I got disabled yet I am staying at home raising my kid and it is pretty much like a job but without the paycheck and the steady hour shifts I had before, you are on call 24/7 too! That presentation of the income disparity doesn’t really explain exactly why there’s a difference, and that is important. Women tend to prefer jobs of lower socioeconomic stature, such as teachers and nurses rather than a competitive business CEO or lawyer. Women also tend to be less assertive, where it would come in handy regarding salary negotiation. There are multivariate factors that contribute to the gap, but ‘sexism’ (as it’s now being increasingly ambiguously defined) is only actually a very small part. Countries like Denmark and Sweden, which have done the MOST to equalize treatment to both sexes, actually see HIGHER percentages of women in service careers like nursing & teaching, and more men in engineering and business careers.

Women and Men have different desires and motivations. It doesn’t make sense to assume as a whole they would make the same choices and reach the same economic outcome.

Us soccer is the one place where this gap actually does not exist. When negotiating the deal they were given the option to take the exact deal that the men’s had, but they declined it. They chose to have guaranteed salary where the men’s do not and only are paid in bonuses, so if you are a part of the team but don’t feature in a game or the bench for that specific game you make no money at all. Non starters get less than starters. Women also chose to get the lower bonus package bec not only did it include guaranteed salary but also a benefits plan for things like fully covered health insurance, paid vacation, paid severance, paid childcare, paid maternity, paid dental and a 401k. They still get bonuses depending on outcome of game. Men’s team gets none of those benefits, and the value of those benefits make up the at least 11% difference that the women would get paid over the course of a year playing 20 friendlies vs men’s playing the same

That NCAA gym for women was a joke. I feel bad for womens sport because women should be competing and aspiring to be involved in sports professionally . But clearly mens sport is still more watched and therefore sponsored because it is representing the peak of human physical abilities. Arguably the professional sport economy is also primarily driven by a male fanbase and marketed towards men .The money follows the audience but the balance is shifting as the female fan base grows as does interest in womens sports. Lets not pretend that men don’t have to work very hard for that money though, they are in an ultra competitive field with a high cost of entry and zero guarantees of success.

Is it fair? Well I would ask is it fair that so called “influencers” on social media platforms have millions of followers and earn millions from advertisers just because they post pics of themselves in various poses and outfits on a daily basis. That economy tends to be solely dominated by women and no one complains that its unfairly biased. There’s literally an economy arguably larger than certain sports almost completely dominated by women because the fanbase is primarily women and the advertisers target the female audience.

Back when I was single, younger (25) and using my architecture degree, I charged a man for a job he asked me to do (drawings, rendering) and he asked me verbatim, “you’re a woman, what do you need so much money for?” Yeah, I’m a woman who doesn’t need to pay rent, transport herself to work, pay my utility bills, eat and wear clothes. At the end of the work day, I dissolve into thin air and reappear the next day I guess. The sexism, misogyny was real (still is) in career fields in Nigeria.

I got hired at a job as a nurse, where I was told that another nurse suspected that male nurses were paid more than female nurses. Somehow she looked at the male paychecks and realized that the men were paid $2.00 more an hour than the males. The pay increased. She got fired.

There’s something I don’t understand right? If the pink tax does cause women to just say “all right well we’ll just take some of the men’s products then” then shouldn’t it be up to companies then to say well your women’s thing isn’t selling so you might as well just make one product for both genders do you get me? Cuz it’s really them that is going to go through a loss Because some of their products aren’t selling. You think that would be an obvious observation but I guess not

    Reply
  • MLG GAMER 1 year ago

I mean obviously the pink tax on its own is an issue for the government but I feel like companies could help in a way but like I said by just selling one product cuz you sold two different gender products one obviously is more expensive than the other and that one is least likely to be bought by women so you might as well sell only one and don’t label it men’s or women’s like everybody can have it and equal amounts of it too so it’s fair

Regarding male violence against women I agree men in general should do something about it and I say in general because some people are just like “but I don’t do that kind of thing to women why should I help out?” I think we should be the type of man like Joker in persona 5 we see a lady getting harassed we stop the man from doing it regardless of outcome

We should be better as men because these women are our mothers, sisters, wives, friends and so on. It’s a shame that women still go through this every day and for that I am sorry. I do everything in my power to not make a woman fear me and if i’m walking behind a woman I announce myself or go to the other side of the road because they don’t know me and I don’ take it personal, it’s not about me or how I feel. We just have to be more self aware.
