Being mentally ill was never a crime. Committing a minor crime while high or ill lands most people here in “mental health court” or “drug court”. Are we reinventing the wheel? This sound byte disappoints.

OK hold on, let me become homeless to get a free home! You know damn well most homeless people choose to be homeless…. which victimizes the REAL homeless people…
Lets talk about people like me who is not homeless, live under a roof but cannot eat more than once a day because I need to pay too much back and have no money to live off of and I don’t even spend money on myself other than one game to escape insanity. My situation isn’t like this or bad btw, if you read this far. I am just giving an example of a lesser situation. Imagine the worse…

Trevor really needed to ask some hardball questions. Statements made by BLM leadership are some of the greatest liabilities of the movement.

Literally one of the stupidest arguments I’ve ever heard in my entire life… if you think rioters and looters will divert to being peaceful once police are gone, then you’re just as ignorant ad these two.

Our local police recently created a social worker liaison position. They go out with an officer on calls to deescalate situations and help refer people to local agencies and nonprofits.
Why not find a way to add social workers to the 911 system so different agencies respond to the calls that best fits their training?

Love how Trever just wants America to be more like his home country. In racial turmoil. Who takes this clown seriously?

Great comment below by Blank Space. I would also add to that unemployment and ridiculous prices for housing for even people with two or more jobs. The equating of homelessness with addictions is not being fair to countless people who simply got laid off, got sick, etc. It’s a rigged game and we have to address that first of all. Housing is not affordable for millions of people ,even before this pandemic. All of this is up for review, and no society can possibly be healthy when it allows such huge disparities and then blames the victim for the greed on top.
