Murphy’s law: “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong”. If you give teachers guns in the classroom, you just added more ways for a tragedy to happen. For instance, a teacher could snap and start shooting all the students in the classroom. Or a student could get the teachers gun and start shooting students at the school.

It’s stupid that republicans say that cars kill more people than guns so unless we want to band cars guns should not be banned. That’s stupid. It’s like doing a math test and saying I can’t find the answer to question 1 so fuck the entire paper. Even if we can’t save the lives from car accidents we still can save those caught in gun related incidents.

I live near broward. I know people with friends in broward. And when you see how your friend or cousin could have been killed, this all becomes a lot more…real. Teachers in every class told us that if there is a shooter in the school or in the class, someone you know will die. Whether it be a close friend or a mild acquaintance. They told us that they will do their best to defend us, and in the process, the teacher might die as well. At some point you need to ask yourself that if kids are being told in all honesty that they or their friends might die from a gun, it’s time to rethink gun laws, because it IS about guns. I have mental illnesses, plural, and have had them since a very young age stemming from trauma, and I currently go to therapy. But I won’t go shoot up a school. The fact that this kid was able to get a gun, a semiautomatic, should be telling of our current gun laws that allow for these sorts of tragedies to happen.

As an European, I can still not believe how Americans are still sure that they need guns to protect themselves (especially why they do not regulate it)…

In March of 2016, Christy Sheats, a wife and mother of two daughters, living in Fort Bend, Texas said, “It would be horribly tragic if my ability to protect myself or my family were taken away, but that’s exactly what Democrats are determined to do by banning semi-automatic handguns.”

In June of 2016, Christy Sheats took her precious semi-automatic handgun and murdered her two daughters.

You know in classrooms where they have guns it’s the kids usually end up with the gun and it’s gone before the teacher realizes it’s missing, or the kid yanks it out of the teacher’s hand and  suddenly there’s a hostage situation. Don’t believe me? Google and look at any of the 4,000+ stories under “student takes teacher hostage with own gun”

Teachers can be mentally ill too. I’ve had emotional or depressed teachers who would get angry too easily. You never know when a teacher can just lose it. Teachers are banging students, fighting students, etc. I’m sure it wouldn’t be long before “teacher shoots student” ends up on the news. Teachers can’t be trusted.

How about a trade… I’ll give you more gun restrictions if you give me restrictions on abortion…..Deal?
Edit#1 put age limit on a gun like the AR15 say 20 Years. Do the same for abortion….

Edit:#2 I just wanted a reaction from some people. Lol. I don’t think it’s a fair trade and I was just being an ass. Hehe

Self defense classes for children… yeah.

I’m a martial artist and if there’s a guy across the room with an AR-15, there is no judo technique that I know of that lets me dodge bullets. Like, who do they want to train these kids? Neo from the Matrix?

Why are Americans so obsessed with their guns, smh. I think people in the USA really need to learn how absurd they seem from foreign countries. Y’all keep having these massacres and yet are doing NOTHING against it. Wtf.

You can’t ban guns. It’s a right, it’s part of the American culture, and there are over a 100 million people with guns under the protection of the bill of rights. What you can do and what would help is to have stronger background checks, get the FBI to do their job, and help those that are mentally ill.
