I binge-watched it with my wife. As someone whose grandfather survived the Bataan death march of POWs during Japans occupation of the Philippines, this show hit some emotional chords with me. Must watch!

So many appleTV seem to be plagued with terrible pacing and scriptwriting. Invasion was so slow it was basically unwatchable, and I do not understand how anyone in their right mind would greenlight that. Is this show any better.

The US has only seen a small portion of the talent that South Korea has in Squid Game and Parasite and this and Minari. Once you start watching kdramas and kmovies you will see so much more. I can’t name 5 decent Hollywood actresses in their 30’s but there are at least 20 to 50 South Korean actresses like that. They produce 80+ kdramas a year. That means so much work for everyone in the industry. All that work and written material hones their craft. Now both Netflix and Disney are producing kdrama material in conjunction with Korean production teams. It’s only going to get bigger and better from here on out.
