ReplyIt’s called white flight. The right to choose is just codeword for the rich people to attend the best schools and the low income kids to be stuck at the schools with little funding.
ReplySchool choice in terms of charter and for-profit schools is a farce. Students should be able to go to any public school in their state. Think of it this way, why invest tax dollars in running completely new school buildings when the existing infrastructure exists. Just change programming and funding with incentives towards growth and not test scores.

If they’re let down now don’t expect them to support ANYONE that voted for everything that cost more than their education.
