Online Forums/Comment Sections have become the “New Normal” in Real World Conversation.
One great example is:Trump got popular because of his Online Trolling via Twitter. Becoming President has just made it feel *normal* faster.
What happened to holding Public Figures to a higher standard because they are “Role Models”. They went after athletes in the 90s for setting poor examples. Now all we see is “Well I wish he wouldn’t do that” when Trump disrespects someone who just died, saying they’re “looking up” from hell.
It wouldn’t surprise me that, at the next State of the Union, congressmen will be wearing “Troll Face” masks

China was mentioned as a dictatorship – and what is the USA now, if it isn’t itself a dictatorship?

In all due fairness, we need to start taking Donald Trump seriously. This man just got away with impeachment. If he can control the Republican party so easily as to do whatever he whims, then what do you think he can do to the masses that believe in him? We need a strong candidate, like a “Martin Luther King” type candidate that can unify the masses with powerful speeches; march alongside the people in times of hate crimes as well as speak at the location and dismantle the flow of hatred and lies that Trump spews by publicly calling for the congressmen to condemn his actions on spot. Because let’s be real, the way things are going now, Trump will be reelected. Also if he loses, he won’t leave without a fight!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but Once the treaty is ratified by Congress, It is law!
Didn’t Trump break the law when he violated the treaty first?

All of the democratic candidates should be showing children in cages, talking about the deficit, talking about what the presidendent is doing in the courts; and not trying to attack each other. Just focus on the problem and don’t worry about becoming the candidate. Start the general campaign now.

The Chinese doctor wasn’t just punished, he died of the virus (or maybe he was eliminated by the government).

They have people quarantined on plague ships — aka cruise ships . Who didn’t see that coming ? Babies only 1 or 2 days old are getting the virus or did they contract it while in utero ? That would mean the virus is passing the placental barrier. That’s pretty scary .

why do they talk about polarization as if its a bad thing ? without polarization, we would not have magnetism or the Earth. without polarization, we would not have the iconic michael jackson song, black or white. its even one of newtons laws of physics, that for every force there is an equal and opposite force. all systems, whether natural or man-made are built on equilibrium which means somewhere somehow there is some polarization going on. you can’t have light without darkness, there is no day without a night, no up without down, no good without evil, no cold without hot. polarization is not the problem, its the lack of equilibrium that is the problem. all systems must eventually go back towards the center after short stints at the extremes or else the system self destructs.

Bill is one to talk about shltting on people, even dead ones. He does it all the time. It’s part of his show. Maybe the discourse needs to change by meeting people where they are instead of where we want them to be. Just a thought. You can’t change minds if you refuse to talk respectfully to those you disagree with.
