This congress just decided for all of us under positive law and many soi-disant churches divine law that a _family_ does not need to consist of a man and woman avowed to the bonds of holy matrimony for life. This is unprecedented in human history and discards thousands of years in philosophy and science from the Occident and Orient of just what constitutes and can be a legitimate definition of the word _Family._ There is no reason to get emotional about it and to interfere in the bedroom of others in order to object. This could be framed merely as semantics. Family, like Vaccine, no longer means what it always did in the English speaking world, and no one is talking about it.
