It’s genuinely shocking how insulated Bill is. Not a hint of irony he berates Trump for saying something about who counts the votes, . . . utterly oblivious the Biden said EXACTLY THAT, stressing the importance of the distinction like we didn’t understand his brilliance, in a national PRESS CONFERENCE JUST . . . THIS . . . WEEK!!!
So much of the stuff that ‘astounds’ neverTrumpers when people don’t care, they are oblivious that Trump is the ONLY time they have EVER cared. They’re the outliers.

ReplyI’m almost in tears that Maher is so dedicated to discouraging America from taking Covid seriously – apparently because it’s taken its toll on carefree living. Ok, so it’s personal for me. It isn’t only because the death of a friend, or the serious, possibly life-long consequences of Covid to many survivors, or my own vulnerability (pulmonary fibrosis) – it’s that, but it’s more than that. A person likes to believe that people give a damn about other people. It really really hurts to hear people proclaim to applause, their indifference. Because they’re “over it”. But I shouldn’t be surprised. I see it in the news every day in every way: Those who don’t feel threatened don’t care about those who are. Threatened.
