Congressman Adam Schiff returns to The Late Show to give a preview of what the American people can expect from Thursday’s primetime Jan 6th Committee hearings, and begins his interview with a stark warning about how vulnerable our democracy is. Stick around for two more segments with Rep. Schiff. #Colbert #AdamSchiff #RepAdamSchiff
The problem is that people don’t care about losing their democracy since it hasn’t done anything but make their lives harder to please the 1%.
ReplyYour Democracy is already over.
ReplyThe mid-terms will freeze out the last two years of the Biden Administration.
From then on, Republicans have utterly normalised the process of over-ruling votes that don’t declare them the winners. Democrats will never hold Feederal power in any branch for the next 20 years, and possiubly forever.
Truns out that the green M&M & Mr. Potato Head were more important to average Americans than democracy
G. O. P. Hazardous to your health. Pro life. Death. Cult.
ReplyHe is right. By leaving the T mob roaming around in full sight for over a year, you were second best in promoting their lies the rot and the corruption of the laws. And expose the Dems to be wet panted wafflers. Shame on you !
ReplyTry to care
ReplyAs the song says, it’s up to you New York, and elsewhere to vote and keep the US with its ability to be civil with and for each other.
ReplyWanna convince me? Quit smiling Adam… get as mad! Lapels my ass, go for the throat… can anyone defend us from the delusional? You are not convincing me.
ReplyHow hard is it to upload interview segments in the correct order? You guys have been uploading these for years, COME ON.
ReplyPlease pass the voting rights bills. Maybe it will help save our democracy.
ReplyI like Adam.
ReplyMy introduction to America’s psychosocial disease began back in the 60’s when, as teenager, I learned of such as this:
In 1925, a high school science teacher named John Scopes was arrested, tried, and convicted of the crime of teaching evolution to his class.
I mention this incident because, even today, there are tens of millions of Americans who would support that judgment.
ReplyPervasive anti-science / anti-factual / religiously bigoted and delusional beliefs now appear to be widely embedded in the American psyche, along with an evidently dangerous level of ignorance and malice – all of which are being readily tapped by rightwing extremists and cultist lunatics in their pursuit of authoritarian power.
Nothing will come from it, I think everyone knows that, much like everyone knows the real reason for all the mass shootings. Treason, yes. The real benefit will go to the Media reporting on it.
ReplyFox is definitely to blame in a huge way. Why are they trying to bring down American democracy?
