“If I’m on the internet, I’m not going to see these little impulse buys. I’m not going to see this pack of gum at the register. There’s no pack of gum at the register in an online store.” – Dulcé Sloan
“An online store will tell you up top – the thing you want, we ain’t got any. The one you like, it’s not here. We’ll send you an email when it gets here, but for today, don’t waste your time.” – Josh Johnson

To the Miles Morales point, I have friends with two biological parents that are together but have their mother’s last name because their mother was not married at the time of their birth.
ReplyMy husband took my last name because my last name is way cooler and I refused to give it up.
There is no rule that a woman or child have to take the man’s last name. Tbh I find it borderline offensive and patriarchal for there to be that expectation
Nascar merch trailers. Literally haul-in stores
ReplySurprised that Dulce works for such a progressive brand but chooses to wear real leather when there are much more eco friendly options that are still durable and stylish.
ReplyAwwww, such sweet summer children. The ‘old’ AOL dial up screech was just duplicating the actual sound of a modem connection in the real olden days. You dialed into Compuserve or whatever on your Commodore 64 and when the screech sounded your pulled the plug from your phone and put it into the modem. And that was the fancy, high-tech way to do it; won’t even go into acoustic couplers and such fun stuff.
ReplyStill want a Blackity Black Hold up. I don’t care what it is: grits v oatmeal, old school rap v new school rap, HBCU v PWI, megachurch v online church, church hats v church shoes
ReplyMany Latino people use their mothers last name
ReplyI was waiting so patiently for this
ReplyHEADPHONES VS EARBUDS!!!
ReplyButter vs cream cheese on bagels
ReplyAmazon has customer service. They will call you if you ask. Easy.
ReplyHaha, I laughed so hard at the “you’re clearly going through something”. Out loud chuckling. I have to remind my son daily to shower. The struggle is real!
ReplyDulce! u r so right about ur fruit and meat!
ReplyI shop both. Specialty items, online. Sometimes I order groceries online. But clothing and most groceries I go in person.
ReplyAnything you ‘d like to chat about. I enjoy listening to you both.
