ReplyI had actually heard about the bee thing before but not relating to royalty. In Mark Twain’s Huckleberry Finn at one point Huck and Jim were talking about random stuff and it was mentioned that if a man who owns a beehive dies, someone has to tell the bees or they’ll die.
Also Jim says bees won’t sting idiots and Huck says he doesn’t believe it ’cause he’s messed with bees before and they ain’t never stung *him*.
