Americans are beginning to re-enter society, and some of them have forgotten how to behave: they’re acting up at sporting events, in stores, on planes, and anywhere else they can manage to get in trouble. #DailyShow #TrevorNoah #ReturnToNormalish

I think one of the problems is the fact that people like Tucker Carlson and right wing politicians have politicized masks and the virus while angrily insisting that it is all an infringement of their rights. They compare wearing masks to Jim Crow laws and The Holocaust. They have helped to incite people and they to view these outbursts as fighting for their freedoms. My little brother believes all that bull$hit. He will cite Tucker Carlson and other like him anytime you try to have a discussion with him about it.

Americans forget how to act in public? Why do they keep making excuses for themselves?

You could elaborat on the weapons of choice, which are still legal on board. Instead of the chair smashed from the ring side you could use a fake beveragetrolly. Perhaps you can licence this idea to the mma league.

It’s unsurprising and unfortunate that we are mentally where we are. There have always been divides and division. Then when COVID hit, instead of using it as a unifying rallying call, Trump turned us against one another. After his lies and stalling ultimately resulted in shutdowns and restrictions anyway we were forced into extended isolation where our socializing went online. Online it was only divided further and we all found echo chambers to wait out the pandemic. Now on the others side, there is no opportunity for discourse and discussion because objectivity, truth, research matter little.

In the retail sector, the abuses aren’t new, much like police brutality, it’s just in the public view more than ever because of the ability for everyone to document said offenses AND the increase in alternative forms of income for the workers who no longer have to take the abuses.
