I’m going to make a prediction right here. After the mid-term elections in 2018, I want any1 who has read this to come back here and prove me either right or wrong. In 2010, thanks mostly to the Tea-Party movement, the Republican Party won 63 seats in the House and 6 seats in the Senate. This was a significant loss for Democrats, especially considering that they lost a Senate seat in Blue State Massachusetts after a special election there (Ted Kennedy died). Regardless of how you felt about him/his decisions, President Obama worked hard for the bailouts and ObamaCare in his 1st 2 years, but his Party lost big time despite these successes, and in part due to the opposition against him despite having decent approval ratings. After this special election in Red State Alabama where a Democrat (narrowly) won, I think history is about to repeat itself in 2018’s midterms, but with Democratic victories. Like 2010, there is a huge opposition/resistance movement against President Trump/corrupt Republican politicians who don’t care about working/middle-class Americans who felt they were played back in 2016. However, unlike in 2010, President Trump has no real legislative accomplishments to brag to his voters/the Republicans’ policies are proven to be hurtful for average Americans (unlike the lies about Obama’s policies). All that said here’s my predication: come the 2018 midterms, best case scenario for Republicans-they only loose about 40 seats, best case scenario for Democrats-they gain anywhere from 70-85 seats, but my prediction Democrats win about 60 seats. However, this will only work if the Democrats get strong/better messaging out there beyond just being against President Trump, the Republicans continue to fail to pass anything legislatively, President Trump continues to divide people on Twitter and fails to meet his campaign promises, and more Progressives have a fighting chance on the Democratic side. What do you guys think?

The Founding Fathers wanted America to be a secular nation that separated church and state/be a nation that did not favor any religion over any other. A lesser known reason why we wanted to break away from Great Britain was that the British monarch was very religious/their government persecuted people based on their religion (Mayflower any1?). Many of the Founders were also not Christian or at least feared that if America was a “Christian Nation” (which we aren’t) that persecuted based on religion we would be no better than the King. As such, they wrote in the 1st Amendment that any1 can practice (or not practice) any religion in America as a basic human right. And there is a Christian version of Sharia Law; it’s when the federal government forced Natives and Africans to convert to Christianity/attend schools to “embrace civilization” or be executed. Allowing more Temples, Mosques, or Synagogues does not make America any of a “Christian Nation” because we never were considered as such, and if you are a non-Christian born in America your rights are the same as a Christian who was born here.

It’s actually pretty scary and sad that despite all of the allegations, despite he is basically just a white ISIS member, Roy Moore still managed to win in a landslide among white folks, 67% of white voters (72% of white men and 63% of white women) voted for this alleged pedop! If it were not for black voters especially black women, Roy Moore would have won with ease.

Bannon is a political genius. Thanks to his contributions, a Democrat was elected in Alabama. Let’s hope Steve Bannon continue this winning strategy for a Blue Wave in 2018!

Roy Moore won the election if you deduct the MILLIONS of underage girls who voted against him illegally yesterday in Alabama. — Donald Trump

I’m glad other people made it public that Roy Moore is cruel to Sassy. It’d be great if she has a better person to take care of her. He probably beats her. She deserves better. Much better.

Those 9 accusers deserve a group of statues in Montgomery. It could be like Mount Rushmore.

The world owes a great debt to those brave victims of Roy Moore who came forward and risked so much.
Similarly, well done to the republican minded voters in Alabama who put country and decency before narrow political tribalism.
