Nikki is progressive. She just wants freedom for herself, but is not critical of cancel culture. She is still on leftist talking points.

What comedians got “cancelled” for making jokes where physical sexual assault wasn’t involved?

What laws have been passed to encourage “Cancel Culture”?

I feel better about Joan Rivers being gone because we have Nikki Glaser.

It’s funny to see people that push cancel culture are now against it.

I betcha that if George Carlin resurrects from the dead, and Tom Lehrer comes out of his retirement into doing satirical ditties again, they’d be bearing the heaviesy brunt if cancel culture, and still they’d plow on like they’d used to!
And I specifically mentioned these 2 names because they are the timeless deans of American comedy and sociocultural satire who are also the most fearless in calling out society’s ills, and are major inspirations to both Bill and my own brands of comedy & satire!

I personally believe that political correctiveness isn’t supposed to be applicable 100% of the time. Sure, there are times & places when PC is needed, BUT there ARE times where PC is counter-productive, and comedy as well as sociocultural satire are among these contexts!

Why is it that the comedians that consider themselves the edgiest are the most afraid of getting canceled? Like, if your whole schtick is that you don’t care what other people think, then why do you care so much about what other people think?

People aren’t sharks. The public has to stop buying into false equivalencies. Like when they speak of an alien species coming to earth, that we’d be ants to them. NO! We’re humans. We speak and create art and music and build rockets and smartphones. Ants are not comparable, at all. Aliens could learn to communicate with us and share knowledge. This cannot happen with ants. And some humans may be monstrous (molesters, pedos, violent, etc.) and referred to as wolves or sharks, but they’re not) NOT “sharks”, mindlessly hunting for food in the natural order and 100% forgivable for the pain they cause in that framework. Humans are aware that they are doing something wrong so any amount of forgiveness and how we respond must be handled differently.
