When did Bill Maher turn into my favorite aunts loser ex-husband husband? Did trigger warning knife him in an alley or something haha?

Russel intellectually dusted that other guest! I wish Russel could have kept going but Bill has corporate sponsors so conflict of interest there.

Trigger warnings always conjure up some fake-smiling upper middle-class well-groomed professional telling someone they understand their pain in a well-modulated voice that is supposed to be reassuring — but in reality is creepy as hell. Yes, trigger warnings trigger me to my dark place.

To be fair, gun shots and strobe lights are important warnings. We have enough veterans with PTSD to warrant it and people with epilepsy could have serious health problems as a result of surprise flashing lights. But also most things with gun shots have guns on their covers and in their trailers so probably don’t need additional warnings.

I just realized I’ve been living on an oil rig for the last ten years! No wait, I know these “trigger warnings”–It’s just that I’ve always IGNORED THEM. What do you wanna bet that’s what MOST people do with them?

Although there are some people that are triggered by certain words, not everybody is… so who gives a rodent’s behind?

The strobe and haze warnings are known to trigger (pun intended) epileptic seizures and asthma respectively. Therefore theatres are required to give a heads-up to their audiences.

Basically another far Left bad idea, that destroys art, literature and any sort of creation.

I only seen trigger warnings on British TV. I have watched viewer discretion advised which I like because it sets the dark tone before the story even starts and if you want to watch something a little lighter then it’s a reminder that this show isn’t a comedy show. So go watch something else like MASH.

I can’t possibly imagine why people need trigger warnings in a country with mass shootings on a daily basis. It’s like people are too sensitive to mass violence!
