ReplyCzechoslovakia had 1 anthem combined of 2 for decades and no 1 had a problem with it. In 89 came a regime change and suddenly the Slovak separatists started coming out of the woodwork claiming they were the oppressed minority. 2 years later they managed to dismantle the 70 year union. Luckily, no shots fired

ReplyWe were making lots of actual progress throughout the 90’s and 2000’s. But, some folks want problems to solve for the sake of solving problems and aren’t content to watch other people progress at a rate they find too slow. Liberals are bringing back racism because they insist it exists on some scale that it does not and if you can convince everyone some big scary monster exists when it does not, you will have power over those who look to you to solve it. This is about transferring power, not about making a better society.

Maher is a priceless but broken clock. Sometimes, like this and twice a day, right on! Other times, so stupidly wrong. Still, I’m glad for this.
