Dear Netflix,
I am one of those who dropped your service. I do NOT like low-budget investigative murder-porn or corn-ball reality shows, and that is what your business has become.
If I want mindless stupidity I will watch The Learning Channel, Thank You!
I think the reason they are loosing customers is because they have a limited amount of good shows. Lately they are showing many old B movies and too many reality shows.
It’s weird how the media exaggerates a drop of 200k subscribers out of over 214 MILLION subscribers – or .1%, over a quarter – as a “sharp drop in subscribers”. When you account for the 700k subscribers that they willingly dropped by stopping service in Russia, that means that they’re actually UP half a million subscribers this quarter.
This is what happens when investors and the financial media have unrealistic expectations of eternally exponentially increasing revenues.
Yea it’s not the password sharing that’s causing millions of people to cancel. It’s the shitty content and a yearly increase, EVERY YEAR. I ain’t paying to watch programming filled with foreign, English dubbed, films. Nothing wrong with that. It’s not the programming most people are looking for. So netflix wants to blame their subscriber base of “password sharing” so they don’t have to focus on their own shortcomings as a declining streaming service. Everything else has better content, netflix. WTFU. Also, Russia. Your subs dropped because you took it away from russia. But whatever, I don’t pay you to blame me about your shitty content and loss of interest in it. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! My new favorite is P+ cause, yes….trekker followed the show to the new streamer/owner.
