“As long as it stays out there”….That’s how you know “Capitalism” is a bad system. “Price hiking”, “fake shortages” etc etc is the name of the game. Lucky people get rich and just keep getting richer. “Work hard to get rich” is a lie sold to keep you docile.

I’d laugh so hard if his mother voted Trump. “What? I think he did well with the economy.”

Why do I have a feeling that Tyson is more enthusiastic about science than he is about sex?

    Gold in space
NASA has asked billionaire Elon Musk to help it explore a nearby asteroid* that contains enough gold to make everyone on Earth a billionaire. Musk’s rocket-building company SpaceX will join forces with NASA to fire an unscrewed spacecraft to the solid metal blob — called 16 Psyche — as early as 2022.

    Is gold rare in space?
Gold is rare throughout the Universe because it’s a relatively hefty atom, consisting of 79 protons and 118 neutrons. That makes it hard to produce, even in the incredible heat and pressure of the ‘chemical forges’ of supernovae, the deaths of giant stars responsible for creating most chemical elements.

The U.S. is crazy. Cosmos aires weekly, primetime on national tv but much of the nation, including many in office, believe the pandemic is a media driven device to manipulate the election.

Imagine if all the resources, money, lives and suffering we’ve spent on wars, just these last 100 years, had been spent on conquering our solar system….wow, just imagine…

Lol on his fragments of planets “trying to form” bs. Tiamat was the planet just beyond Mars that was destroyed, forming the Asteroid Belt.

Today the US registered more positive cases of covid in just one day, than China or Japan or Austria or many other countries have registered since the begining of the pandemic.

Neil Degrasse is a moron. Instead of talking about whether it might actually hit or not, and if it can be stopped, he goes on about how much it’s worth. This man is a self proclaimed guru.
