parents will constantly ask friends/family without kids to babysit, make inconvenient accommodations for them and do tasks/work that they are usually do with no reciprocation or repayment. What selfish thing has a child free person ever made a parent do? If you want to have kids it’s absolutely your choice but it’s also your responsibility, not someone else’s

You could adopt to avoid the pregnancy related issues. And there are no shortage of orphans who deserve a home.
But really, if you don’t want kids, nobody should ever pressure you to have them. There are many ways to find purpose, fulfillment, and joy in life. Raising children should be done by those who wish it. Reluctance and the wrong attitude toward children will only make for bad parenting.
ReplyBeing childless wasn’t my ideal, but being the last born in my family, I got to see what my older siblings had to go through and with the cost of everything to raise a kid anymore, I knew having both a family and a career for me were incompatible. God bless you all who can handle such.
ReplyI desperately want to have children but I don’t see it happening. The modern world is too fucking chaotic and everything is too fucking expensive and the anxiety isn’t fucking worth it anymore because no matter how hard you try to raise them right, the system will turn them into fucking monsters.
