Conan should have Joey Diaz on the podcast about the Sopranos and just because Joey is one of the funniest comedians ever.

The game she was talking about with the dogs is most probably “The Last of Us 2”.

I didn’t listen to most of this video because I was somberly reflecting on how many canines I’ve been forced to kill in video games.

I’ve never really understood why a lot of people feel more emotional about animals getting hurt than people. I mean, there was this one time in middle school where we were watching “The Boy in the striped pajamas” and it was at the scene (spoiler) where the boys and some other people get “a shower”, and then the movie ends, and we’re all a mess as the credits roll by.

The teacher asks us about how we feel, and these 2 kids (they were kinda preppy kids, I’m not sure how else to describe them, but they’ve definitely lived in 2 story houses thier entire lives) whom were still crying said, “The dog! Why’d they kill the dog!?” I didn’t even remember a dog, I just thought “You’re crying, about a dog dying, in a movie about the Holocaust? One of the saddest events in human history, and a dog dying is what got you emotional.

I’m not saying an animal dying isn’t sad, of course it is, anything dying is sad to see, I just never understood this way of thinking.

I remember there being one of those Call of Duty games where they have you shoot up an airport of civilians. Nevermind that you shoot people like crazy left and right in those games, but suddenly when you’re shooting a group of defenseless and frightened people. That messed with me.
