ReplyI’ve been microdosing mushrooms for the last few months for depression and the results have been immeasurable. The world has beauty again where before it was grey and painful.
ReplyWe just voted in legalizing mushrooms in Oregon very recently.
ReplyGreat interview, thanks for this. here’s hoping for a mental health revolution

Wowowowowowow. Finally the truth seeps out
ReplyI use to like the field of psychology but it’s dominated by a group with a narrow view. For example if they invite other cultures instead of just assuming their right they would have more progress. I listen to my therapist and think… green.
ReplyTerrence McKenna was talking about this long before Michael Pollen showed up. Credit where credit is due, please.
ReplyThe “moral panic” was probably economic concerns and alcohol profits. I’m sure Budweiser would pay to stop that drug, not saying it was them. FDA is not into cures they do treatments. An example they cured syphilis in the Tuskegee trials and today you can buy… the treatment.
ReplyExcited to see how much progress Pollan helps the medical field make with psychedelics – Food Rules is still one of the most potent books ever written!
ReplyVery interesting who knew being trippy actually helped mental health? I never knew
ReplyThank you for this!
ReplyHappy Trails y’all.
ReplyIt’s time for me to fly!
So thankful for this information getting out there! Currently, I am only encouraged to take drugs that cause me great harm.
ReplyI’ve always admired Michael Pollan and his work, he should be mentioning that Terence McKenna was on this years ago and deserves credit for not backing down on insisting it is our right to explore our consciousness through psychedelics! McKenna was brilliant and all we need to do and to go and listen to all of this talks
ReplyTraditional drug therapy for mental health, in many cases, is nothing more than a desperate shot in the dark. ‘Revolution’ is underselling it. If these drugs gain approval then the mental therapy period we are in now will be forgotten faster than if you could physically throw it.
ReplyI 100% had ego disillusion until I took mushrooms. I was seeing me and my life, my motivations and fears more clearly those few hours than ever before. I’ve only taken them once and it 100% refracted my view of myself and my decisions and my feelings.
