Mitch McConnell warns corporations to stay out of politics with one caveat, the U.S. and Iran talk through European diplomats, and Siri’s voice will no longer default to a female-sounding voice. #DailyShow #TrevorNoah #MitchMcConnell

What we need to do is have a massive amount of people ‘bribe’ our corporations into fighting for civil rights. That is exactly what is going on with people against the 14th amendment. They want to bribe people to do their bidding. The play is with money, but instead it would be with more people with money going against rich individuals.

McConnell finds it a moral problem to “punish a community or state.” Oh really, Mitch? When elections don’t go the way you want, disenfranchising all voters on the winning side must be the legislative solution. Do you sense any problem with that solution, Mitch? That’s the ‘me, my, mine’ thinking of a three year old. You look mature McConnell but your words indicate quite the contrary.

Am I going crazy but this week Trevor Noah’s mic makes a high pitch buzzing sound. I went thru the rest of his videos and they don’t do it. I lower the volume and still here a buzz sound from time to time. I even went to other videos and my music to be sure that my phone is okay. But it’s only this weeks videos that from time to time buzz buzz. Which is weird.

Whenever I feel disgusted with myself for my various foibles and failings or worse, all I have to do is look at the leaders of the GOP and feel gratified that I at least have enough dignity to feel shame.

And then I feel worse, because they’re the ones with a seat in our government and a hand on this country’s neck, and there are enough fools out there to keep reelecting them in spite of all sense and reason.

The corporations didn’t make a moral decision, they made a profit calculation and decided the hit to their brand would be more expensive than any lost customers. Its capitalism operating normally which is extremely disheartening for Mitch and his supporters because it means the corporations no longer listen to him, and all his supporters can do is scream into the void about sjws and cultural marxists but nothing will change because the problem is their dear baby capitalism.

It’s always amusing to see McConnell and the GOP party of Georgia as well as the GOP Senate have their wings singed from flying to high near the sun. Many have said and I will say it as well… if Trump had won Georgia, this sudden restructuring of voting and the new rules wouldn’t even be executed and even be a topic of discussion in Georgia nor other States were Trump had lost over President Biden.
The Senate is against the long overdue Infrastructure bill that President Biden wants passed. They’re for bridge and roadwork improvements but don’t care about replacing Our nations ancient water pipe system decaying throughout the USA and against Broadband expansion. Apparently they don’t want low income families with kids to learn and become well versed with increased intelligence by utilizing computers online, who knows what their motive is? Repairing bridges and roads in affluent areas are okay, but nothing else, eh GOP’s? The Senate is useless, and their kooky GOP Q’Anon members have lost touch with reality thanks to the orange guy that left in January. They’re clueless, and confused why more Americans identify as Democrats than Republicans by a margin that hasn’t been seen in a decade, according to a report released by Gallup on Wednesday.
Source: USA Today, Article: “Gallup poll shows largest increase in Democratic Party affiliation in a decade” – April 7th 2021.

Americans are taught that Iran started the hostilities with its revolution and the hostage crisis in 1979… but not looking back what that revolution was against. It was a revolution against an autocratic puppet regime installed by the UK and USA in 1953 in a coup that overthrew a democratically elected government. Surprise, surprise they don’t want us to tell them what to do anymore…

McConnell’s words for the corporations was inconsistent, since he still welcomes their donations, and completely inappropriate and anti-democratic, since he treated them as well. This is another low from republicans. This party is living in the sewers of politics. What will it take to make it come back to some decency and seriousness?
I hope his treats will just cause increased distancing and removal of donations to republicans. They must keep losing power and influence until they get rid of the crazy populist self-serving liars, and restore the party with renewed commitment to what matters to the US society, instead of their own.
