ReplyConan needs a sssss filter on the mic
ReplySad how Matt puts up with the constant abuse, for a paycheck. When the cameras turn off, Conan is still berating everyone.
Replyit must be hard to get constantly roasted by somebody that can fire you.
ReplyConan is referencing the very first and most fundamental rule of improv, “Yes, and…”, not “No, but…”. An instinct is to deny the wacky stuff your improv partner is saying, because it is easier and throws the ball back in their court, but it just completely stops the scene. In improv you should almost always try to build off of what your partner is saying rather than deny it.
ReplyAs someone said in another one of their videos, Matt is the most fun non-comedian I’ve seen recently. Incredibly fast and witty with his jokes. Greetings from Spain!
ReplyI miss Superego so much
ReplyIn the early 90s, my dad worked in construction in Orange County. He made a difficult spiral staircase that he was very proud of for a new house, but he forgot to take pictures. He went back about three years later to ask permission to take some pictures, and the whole house had been torn down and replaced by another one.
ReplyI’m so used to everyone talking over each other that the sudden dead silence at 3:15 cracked me up.
ReplyGo and listen to the Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project. Gourley is co-host and one of the improvisers on it. It’s great.
ReplyMaking Mats the Gour Way is my favourite podcast.
ReplyGRAVY IS SKATING
ReplyHey Conan, I know you’re new to the business, but mumbling into a mic one inch from your face sounds awful.
ReplyGourley is like a pitcher getting nowhere close to the strikezone for hours but then hits an old lady in the bleachers and makes up for it
ReplyConan’s audio isn’t great in this episode. And echo.
ReplyGive us a suggestion, “NO”. Had me busting my gut
ReplyGourley and the Gub-gub Report!
