wtf is this? it’s horrible. what’s up, sheryl? smh
ReplyPlease tell me that were not dumbing music down this far. I got my musicology degree at Costco… I have skills!
ReplyOh, love the pajamas too. Brilliant.
weak voices and it was not even live ^^
ReplyI see by previous comments this performance hasn’t gone over for everyone. For such a big celebration onstage,
Replythe song needed a cathartic moment, or a stronger line for a sing-along, also seeing the song as being weak.
If Sheryl had got in there to sing why everyone should be having fun, it might have been well-done.
Legitimately the worst performance I’ve seen here since that shitty rap duo.
ReplyThey aren’t getting much love on this thread but I think they have a good sound!!
ReplyWtf everyone singing in unison
ReplyWhat’s the point of Sheryl crow even being there did she owe them a favor .?
I…
NGL, not my favorite performance on the show. I could see the song being fine… but the lead singers weren’t in tune with each other at all, and it just feels very Adult Contemporary without any real passion behind it? Like, something like when you had Sleater-Kinney on was one thing for raw, they’re a Riot Grrl act who are all about the grungier post-rock scene. But this feels like it’s intended to be a more produced pop sound, and it just… doesn’t work here?
Checking out some of their music videos, the girls have a great produced sound together, so maybe this was just an off night?
ReplyThanks Stephen you have no idea what this means to their fans. You should go to one of their shows and see.
ReplyReally don’t like it. If it came out in the mid 80s it still wouldn’t have turned heads. The sound also is quite blunt
ReplyWow, why so many negative reviews? I think they are great and I’ll be humming this song for days. So what if you never heard of them before? They create a great mood and vibe.
ReplySheryl deserves better.
ReplyGeeze Crimony! Don’t you understand? It’s about two people in love and their love is DYING. That’s big and bad stuff. And they don’t want to face the sad truth either.
