ReplyWe have got to start calling out the screaming inaccuracy of the media flurry about “masks don’t do anything”. That’s just bullshit, and it’s NOT what the experts actually said! Did everyone forget that the original intent of masks was NOT to protect you from getting Covid, it was to prevent you from spreading it through your nose and mouth emissions?? Yes, the cloth mask can let in little viruses. But I wear it to keep all the spit from my face that carries those viruses out of the general air. That prevents a f***ton of those virus bits from escaping. (If I’m on a bus and you crash the bus, my travel has been halted, regardless of the fact that I am smaller than the bus).
ReplyWalking around with cloth masks on is like being shot at by one gunman instead of being shot at by a battalion. Yes, you could get hit, but your odds are waaay better because there are fewer bullets in the air. The vaccine and N95 masks are the equivalent of full-body armor.
The Biden administration failed, and there will be a red wave in the 2022 election because of it.

ReplyFlorida is at #17 for two major reasons: 1) suppression of data and 2) travelers catch covid here in Florida … but get hospitalized or die when they return home. The Texas man who died after catching covid at Disneyworld (with his wife & 5 young kids) is a sad example.

ReplyThat’s the ugly truth. Everything we did was only to slow down and mitigate the impact, but no matter what we do we can’t avoid some of that impact. So some people won’t survive, even with the vaccine. Luckily, it’s a minority of people who are in big risk. And although every effort we make will be good for everyone in the end, it doesn’t feel like it and it doesn’t feel worth it. So, everybody will get tired of it eventually.

ReplyWhile Bill Maher and Bari Weiss may be “tired” of Covid and want their lives back, close to a million people in the US have died and hospitals are currently overflowing with the sick. They both sounded like spoiled children. Do they honestly think the rest of us are not tired of Covid as well. But the truth of the matter is this is a pandemic, a virus that is continually changing and mutating. It’s not over because they are tired of it. Get vaccinated and mask up and oh yea, grow up.
