ReplySo at 6:48 we can witness a multimillionaire American actress being celebrated for virtually stealing from a store, but when a Ukrainian woman does this very thing on the first season of her show it’s not “quirky” or “cutesy”, but effectively underlines negative stereotypes about Eastern Europeans as petty thieves with broken english…A truly pathetic (and tone-deaf) skit that does not make Collins come across as more relatable.
