Phil Rosenthal delights our host with the story of meeting and talking comedy with one of Stephen’s personal heroes, the late Johnny Carson. Watch the sixth season of his show, “Somebody Feed Phil,” when it premieres on Netflix on October 18th. #Colbert #PhilRosenthal #SomebodyFeedPhil
Phil is just one of the nicest, sweetest people I’ve ever seen. Love his show. Whatta guy!
ReplyI tried watching that Netflix series and… I was done after 2 episodes. The man is kind and smart but he never came off as funny in the series. I got bored actually. And yes I’m aware it’s about food. But it lacked something
Reply❤Only for fans over 18 year⤵️ Alles sehr schön. Aber zuerst zusammen die Nummern 10 und 1. Eine countrygirl2.OnLinE Brünette und eine andere Blondine. Es wäre unfair, wennn ich 4 wählen würde
ReplyEverybody loves Phil!
ReplyMr. Rosenthal said John Candy but he must have meant Chris Farley doing his interviews with celebrities on SNL.
ReplyWell now I’m all hungry.
ReplySomebody Feed Phil is one of my favourite comfort shows. I must have rewatched every episode at least 2 or 3 times. He’s a person who brings joy and warmth to travel, food, and the people he meets.
ReplyWho doesn’t love Phil? (my friend Alex, but then again, he doesn’t like to travel which is why I’m trying to get him to watch SFP)
G’day from Telopea Sydney Australia. Also, trying to encourage you both to come to this side of the world for a week or two. I’ll show you around and introduce you to the way Aussie are fed.
ReplyIf I could, I would become instantly famous – just to meet Stephen Colbert.
Reply“I had to get to you” What a beautiful mind
ReplyPhil’s a great guy and he’s tried to tell the truth about things that some people don’t even know he tried to tell the truth about like when he tried to do a show about the work of Dr Steven Greer the documentary filmmaker and was told no back off or else
ReplyHe wrote such a great book, ‘You’re Lucky You’re Funny’, that included how he created ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’. And how some of the young suits didn’t get it when he told them he was trying for a classic, character driven classic comedy like The Mary Tyler Moore Show and they told him it should be going ‘counter-clockwise instead of clockwise’ (wha…?) and how he should aim for ‘edgy and hip’. LOL. He then integrated that into his Emmy acceptance speech. I have the audio book and his reading is just so enthusiastic, funny and personable…what a guy.
ReplyHe is a sweetheart. Says all the right things 💖
ReplyAnd Stephen just said “Itly”! 💕 That’s how my dad pronounced Italy! 🥰🥰🥰
ReplyI love phil!
ReplySuddenly this might be my favorite moments of Stephen’s show. I absolutely love both Stephen and Phil. Omg they’re sharing sandwiches and wine. How wonderful is this!
ReplyFocaccia? No!!!! It’s from Florence! It’s called SCHIACCIATA (ski-u-chia-tu)! Please! It is NOT the same thing!
ReplyPhil is so sweet <3
ReplyI want those god damn sandwiches.
