Did Roots ever show the root cause of slavery in the movie? I forgot. Did it show how Africans were enslaving Africans to be sold around the world? Hope it didn’t perpetuate the myth that “the white man went into Africa and kidnapped free people”

ReplySeriously, who was doing audio on this episode cuz you need to fire them. I can barely hear Lavar cuz hes so low and Lowe is so friggin loud that Im sitting here on the volume slider trying to catch it and I jam it up and down to adjust for each persons wildly different levels!

ReplyIn one of the USC cinema buildings there’s a Roots poster by the elevator I took to class every week. I can’t believe it took me this long to recognize him! He must have been the person who signed it.
