ReplyThe thing is, Israel only bombs strategically important places, unfortunately hamas intentionally puts these places in the middle of civilian populations, making it much harder to bomb them without hurting civilians. Israel tries to minimize collateral damage by warning civilians before bombing buildings but there is only so much you can do. hamas on the on the other hand intentionally bombs innocent civilians.

ReplyEvery time these reports occur, one must not forget: HAMAS launches its rockets from civilian places on purpose. They launch rockets from school, hospitals (not mosques, huh) so the backfire would show Israel as terrible aggressor.

I agree about responsibility of the more powerful, but that applies to HAMAS more than to Israel.
I hate war and I hate violence, but even more I hate ignorance the the Western society falls in when it comes to the conflict.
The israeli missle defense system doesn’t work in the communities next to Gaza (most missles target them).
Therefore they are forced to stay underground in bunkers for most of the day…
That’s not a situation you can just ignore, and with out any help from the UN israel must retaliete to destroy the palastinians missless launchers (most of the lunchers are hidden in privet homes in Gaza).
As an Israeli I want nothing more then to see peace between us and the palastinians but still, we must take actions to prevent dead civilians (the israeli milliatery alse inform palastinians before bombing they’re house in order to not hurt them).

Trevor I liked your video but 1000+ rockets being shot at random spots all over Israel would of caused more catastrophic damage and lives lost than Israel strategically and specifically targeting strong holds of hammas storing deadly weapons. If it wasn’t for the iron dome hundreds or thousands of lives would be lost, and the rocket attacks are justified because of a raid at mosque using non lethal force to disperse threats? Come on. They didn’t bring a knife to a gun fight, they brought rockets to a fight that didn’t even involve killing. They started using war tactics of lethal military force. Obviously the Palestinian military does not care who they hit across, but Israel does because they haven’t crushed Gaza like you said they could do.
