ReplyIn the 90’s, pre ACA (“Obamacare”), insurance companies routinely kicked teenagers off their parents insurance at the age of 18. Planned Parenthood, for many young women, was the ONLY place where they could go to receive quality reproductive healthcare services (well-woman exams and the like) for little to no cost.
ReplyNow, here we are in 2023, and that’s still the case today…given that there we continue to have millions of Americans with limited or no health insurance.
Please make Leslie the new host.

ReplyAmerica needs Leslie’s energy EVERYDAY. But that energy needs to be met immediately with action. It’s great to inspire, motivate and get people pumped but that needs the be followed up with an action, no matter how small. A donation, filling out or proofing someone’s paper work when it comes to voting (IDs, driving license, voters registration cards, everything), donations to ally organizations, etc.. Inspiration without direction breeds hopelessness. Do something, anything (that’s legal/moral). It doesn’t have to be grand, it’s just has to be something.
