“Because I’ve never really been a pasta person, lasagna’s really the only thing I’ve liked because it’s very difficult to make” – Dulcé Sloan
“The simple fact that you’re half a measurement away from making bad lasagna at all times is why spaghetti is superior.” – Josh Johnson

You’re right Dulce Tomatoes AND potatoes were new world items and pasta came from China. I have often wondered the same thing that you are. What the heck were people eating hundreds of years ago in England?! Seems like a lot of rabbit and celery

In an ideal world, where health and calories don’t matter, and it’s always made the way I like it (red wine, sausage, cottage cheese-no, that’s not a typo), I would say lasagna. But the reality is that calories, etc DO matter, and I can’t eat a whole tray of lasagna, so spaghetti/cappellini/linguini works better, because I can eat 1 svg and move on

Lasagna always better than spaghetti. Much more going on in a lasagna than spaghetti.

No pasta lasagna, beef, spicy sausage, cheeses and sauce layered and baked (brown meats before layering w/ olive oil so its healthy). P sure I died after I ate it, worth it tho.

1 reason why Cincinnati chilli has noodles is because it was used to stretch the chilli to make it last longer/feed more people.
