It’s a disgrace everyone there had to wait over 15 minutes for Senator Rand “Doesn’t Get Punched in the Face Enough” Paul to finally show up, vote no in the hallway because he refused to wear a tie and present on the Senate floor, and then storm off like a bitch.

I feel that it should be a mandate that no matter what affiliation the President has he should have to go on both Republican and Democratic news sources so he/she can clear up any misconceptions it was in poor taste to say it had to be a black woman if he said it in terms such as ” we want to diversify the court because it’s important to have different walks of life representing us would have been much better. If u talk to a Southerner like a Southerner they respect u a lot more ~Respect both ways turns into LOVE

There is no reason for that margin to be that close. It should have been unanimous.

Jon may have taken home all the Grammy awards, but he still can manage to pound the piano when Stephen puts away his invisible props (6:29).

You go, Jon. Don’t conform to the man!

Back in the 80s, I was the ONLY black salaried worker in our finance division (with 30 white salaried workers). I complained to my dad about the prejudice and unfair treatment. I said “Why should they care? It’s just me. It’s only one!” He said to me “Baby, they don’t even want you in there!”
That is what I thought about when I saw those hateful Republicans walk out after her confirmation. What a disgrace!

Will go some way to make up for the last disgraced justice Clarence Thomas – he needs to be replaced by someone who will serve the people and not himself!
( I believe he took an oath to that effect?)

53-47 it’s kinda sickening knowing these GOP exists. They voted Nays just because she was nominated by democrats and black. Some of them even said she’s well qualified but they will still not support her. Kudos to those 3 who did the right thing.
