Literally just stepped out of the theater; the film was awesome, in the original sense of the word.

This is why I love Hollywood! Making stories about the WWII is so important esp now coz Americans have lost perspective on America’s great history and how America fought against Nazism, taking in refugees and immigrants.
But now we have a president who attracts the worst kind of people – the white supremacists and the neo Nazis.

“So, by the end you like you’re there with them”. Yes, thats true, i’ve never experienced a film in theater so immersive, tense, gripping, and emotionally moving without being sentimental or saccharine like Dunkirk

A story about WW2 and Americans don’t know about it, because it didn’t involve Americans. American history education is really not where it should be.

‘Dunkirk’ sounds like an extra large fritter from Dunkin’ Donuts.

So, Stephen invited Ken Branagh because Cillian Murphy wasn’t interested in him.

Now we just need a movie on the Night Witches, Simö Häyhä, the Franz Stigler incident, the Bull Allen incident, and the Battle for Castle Itter

Shitty propaganda. Literaly. During the rest of the war, british propaganda will not invent rubbish like they did for dunkirk. The real events would have been good. Making a film of the ludicrous myth is simply lame.
