Julio Torres, Ana Fabrega and Fred Armisen talk about filming in Chile, the specifics of a Chilean accent and Julio’s tiny stairs commercial.
I love that they captions ate just [Speaking Spanish]
*Chile was run by a fascist dictatorship for decades, complete with mass graves, torture facilities and “disappearances”. The international community convinced the dictator to step down, but before he left he, rewrote the constitution, gave amnesty to all his military goons, privatized the entire country (those companies owned by cronies) and left the beaurocracy in the hands of his followers. What’s left is a country with two classes, the rich Nazis and the extremely poor who literally starve. It’s a world as if run by the U.S RNC (republicans) but to the 3rd power.*
I would totally buy those tiny stairs for my dreams… 💭💃But I think it would need to have a little gate at the top – no need to make it any easier for spiders to crawl up in there. 😐 🕷️
