Judy Blume explains why she thinks parents are too protective these days.
JUDY BLUME IS MY HERO!!!!!!!!AHHHHH!!!!!
To be fair, that was sad when the turtle died. I’m not saying they should censor it, but I remember reading that when I was younger and felt really bad. Mostly for Peter. Poor kid. Even his own book series ended up being more about his little brother than him. He could never catch a break.
Adult and YA novels? I only know her for the Fudge books. I mean I know she wrote Are You There God, It’s Me Margaret, and Blubber, but other than… wait, did she write Freckle Juice? I always get that one confused with Frindle since I never read either of them, but they both had a kid on the cover looking like Arnold from the Magic School Bus.
PC Principal been after her
If you think about it, Judy Blume might be one of the biggest authors in U.S. history. There aren’t too many people who don’t know the name.
She’s a sweetheart
Judy freakin’ Blume everybody! I saw her at Bookcon in May and fell in love with her all over again.
