    Electric baguette would not be too crazy in French. “Baguette” might mean the bread item, but it more generally refers to any sort of stick; baguette for the bread simply comes from the fact that the loaf is sort of shaped like a stick.

    For example, a wand is typically called a “baguette” in French, including the magical variety. So yeah, in French, Harry Potter and his friends are brandishing baguettes.

    So “baguette électrique” would simply mean electric stick. Not a very precise word for a vibrator but not wrong either.

    I can see why those jokes didn’t make the cut. “white people do this” and “lesbians are butch” jokes died in the 90’s . I guess no one told the unfunny people.
