Too bad it’s only a minute but this was great. It was like watching two
school chums from the same graduating class reunited after a long time
just to shoot the shit :)

“Are you a citizen? Can you vote?”
Well, here’s the thing, Stephen. Thousands of illegals vote without showing
ID, so whether he’s a citizen doesn’t really matter.

I wish this channel would stop uploading so many 1 minute snippets of
segments. Upload the full segments, especially when you have guests on who
have actual important things to say (unlike Trump and Jeb) like Bernie
Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. It’s so frustrating because the quality of
the show is so high, and I love Colbert. I’m sure there are licensing
restrictions and stuff, but goddamn it…

I love the way John Oliver, when he goes on other people’s shows, wears a
pin to commemorate/celebrate his wife’s army regiment, the 1st Cavalry
Division (his wife had been a combat medic in Iraq in the 1st Cavalry
    Division with the U.S. Army).

    both started on this show.*

Jon Stewart is a hero.. seriously. *4 shows currently running on Comedy
Central, CBS, and HBO are all people that Jon Stewart hired and made
famous.* Nobody has every done so much for so many hosts.

John Stewart is definitely irreplaceable, but John Oliver is doing a damn
good job in his own right. I’m sure Trevor noah will come to fruition in
his own right and Stephen Colbert always did a good job as well on comedy

Colbert is funny but I think the late show isn’t as funny as his last show.
I’m not going to say he has sold out but it seems his show is not as
raunchy as the previous one. I bet his targeted demographics is more
towards the older and elderly people in American society who want a more of
a safe, censored and condensed talk show. Jon Oliver on the other hand I
think has surpassed Colbert, or at least he has WAY better writers. Jon
Oliver is right there are way more things to talk about. American politics
is so redundant that anyone really can predict the political circus that is
going on right now. By talking about these candidates your just feeding the
    beast.
