Fetterman will win and Kelly will win so its down to Nevada and Georgia for the senate. Hoping both go blue!
ReplyIf those of a certain age would’ve stayed in school and their school required civics to be taken, they would’ve known about the election process, and known it’s difficult to carry out wide scale fraud to begin with. In the olden days of our country with county boss systems, it was easier to intimidate voters and that’s exactly what those who are preaching election denial are doing… intimidating others.
Replyyesterday a former poootin cronie admitted there was Russian interference with the election and it will happen again.
ReplyPratchett fan?
ReplyI’m devastated for Beto O’Rourke. Honestly, Texans have voted against their own interests if they think keeping Abbott in was the best idea
ReplyRussian or “rush in”? Not sure I heard that right
ReplyWe are a flawed democracy on the Democracy Index because of 1) the electoral college 2) plurality voting 3) the Senate 4) allowing state politicians of the majority party to draw district lines, instead of an independent commission.

ReplyGiven that for so many decades the US had so many freedoms and rights, I come at it from a visceral reaction that I could see within the next ten yrs, Oprah might need to start an orphanages in the US, never mind needing one in Africa. I never thought that ever before until tonight.
ReplyFinally – this is the first time I’ve seen someone in the media recognize that the “worried about Democracy” people are _not_ all Democrats worried about the election lies, but also Republicans falling for election lies. Too many people were ignoring this fact leading up to this.
ReplyIf the Dems fare well in these midterms, one thing they should do to strengthen their position for the future with the nationwide majority of voters is part ways from Woke and cancel culture. Curbing our ability to debate critical “sensitive” issues by censoring semantics like a herd of illiterates is in no way democratic. It’s corrosive to democracy, to moral honesty, and everything that progressivism is supposed to be about.
